It is God who pursues us who uplifts us and protects us and provides for everything we need It is God who loved us first who showers us with every good thing we do not even know All that is required of us is the faith to believe that He is there that He is our Greatest Lover the Source of all that’s wonderful there is in our lives It is our part to be able to receive such a love to rejoice because we have been called because we have been found because we learn that despite the mundaneness of what we see we are special we are cherished we are in truth God’s beloved ones.

 Have you ever felt irritated by the weakness of other people around you? We don’t want to admit it, and we’d rather see ourselves having sympathy for the weak, but the truth is there are times when we do feel an uncomfortable dislike for people we see as weak. Why? There are two things I’ve realized: 1. We hate seeing weak people because we don’t want to be reminded of our own weaknesses.  We’d rather be in the company of strong and beautiful people as though by seeing them, we become strong and beautiful ourselves, we forget the scar of our hurts, our insecurities, the blemishes we don’t want other people to see. 2. A Book Review: Timeless Christian Lessons From the Classic Romance Novel by Nicholas Sparks For years, I was content that I have watched the film based on Nicholas Sparks’s novel “A Walk to Remember”. It wasn’t until I found a social media post asking about books that made readers cry that I regained interest in reading it. What’s different about the book? Would I really cry? These were just some of the questions I had when I decided to purchase the classic romantic novel. Set in 1958, the story about Landon Carter and Jamie Sullivan takes on a different period but not a contradicting theme. In fact, I think the book and the movie complement each other. Watching the film and reading the book provides people an experience that helps them gain a deeper and richer grasp of the story. Told through the point of view of Landon, the book allows the reader to see things from his perspective. The reader sees what he sees, and I think this works most especially in the way he sees Jamie.
