What causes insanity? Is it a physical ailment like something suddenly goes wrong with the physical brain? I don't think so. Some people even have tumors and brain cancer, and yet they don't go insane. This condition of madness isn't more about the brain, but more about the condition of one's mind.
There had been a lot of talks and articles about the mind, and about the power of the human mind. But I wasn't able to read much about what goes on within that same mind when the mind goes insane.
I have always wondered about the mystery of it, of what happens to the soul of a man that goes mad. Does the soul become mad, too? If it does, and the man dies in that state, how could the soul be saved from the madness then?
I have only one guess. I believe that only love could bring back a chaotic mind to a state of calm. It has to be a pure, strong, persistent and unconditional love that will never cease flowing until it sends forth healing, until it reminds the lost mind that there is hope, that there is a home to come back to. What do you think?
