I’ve found some great tips that could definitely be money savers for us. In previous posts, I’ve included my own tips on how to make extra money. While that may help us increase our income, this series would in turn help us decrease our expenses and save enough money for our more important priorities.
1st Tip: Budget
Everyone should create a budget. If you are not sure how or just not good with money, many businesses such as H&R Block, offer free financial consulting to help you put a budget together. Knowing where you are spending your money is by far the best way to save. In most cases, people have no idea where their money is really going and once they see it on paper, not only are they surprised but eager to change their spending habits.
itakeoffthemask.com is not your usual personal development website that tells you what you already know, but an online life coaching site that unmasks what you're really going through and offers real empathy and empowering resources for your comfort and healing. Hi Jocelyn,
Nice series! Especially this year when we need to watch our finances more than usual.
I did cent-by-cent accounting for one year and yes it was an eye-opener to know where my money was going – mainly to Starbucks… I should have bought shares!
Glad you found Evelyn’s site. She writes well and from her personal experience, and that makes her posts valuable insights.
Yeah, tough times are certainly ahead. But tough people are also there to make it through! We belong to that group,
Yeah, we’d really appreciate some extra money nowadays
I’ve been to your blog, and if I remember right, I got there thru Daphne’s and Lance’s pages. Keep it up! Let’s help each other live more abundant lives.
I definitely agree that sitting down to do consolidated worksheets help us keep our finances in perspective. I’d be interested in growing my income to more than cover my necessary expenses.
